There is something grotesque in some H2020 projects about technology: Open Innovation Platform for IoT-Big Data in Sub-Sahara Africa.
It sounds like one line from the Colonel Kurtz in the movie “Apocalypse Now!” :
– “We train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won’t allow to write fuck on the airplanes because it’s obscene!“.
In our case it should be: -“We do H2020 projects about IOT in Africa while millions of young people from the same area are deported and tortured as slaves to reach where we write H2020 projects.“-
It’s disgusting more than grotesque and there are priorities quite evident and blatantly more serious than to play with IOT gizmos&big data in Africa: famine, corruption, slavery …
