Internal Market & Competition

Internal Market & Competition

The free circulation of goods, capitals, people, and services within a single market and the following application of a common external tariff were the main pillars of the European Economic Community. Nowadays, Member States are tied together into a continental trade bloc that effectively drove the integration process. Nevertheless, the objective of a fair market backed by an efficient and transparent competition is not wholly accomplished.

In this section, EUE will review and publish research documents to inform and guide European citizens, professionals, and enterprises to understand the European procedures, underlying both the negative distortions and the positive outcomes.
